Code of designation of Diodes Semiconductors

For the identification of the diodes semiconductors there is used a code that consists of two letters followed by a serial number:

The first letter distinguishes the material of the used semiconductor.
The second letter indicates the principal application or application and construction in case a major differentiation should be preferred.
The serial number is formed by three numbers for the devices semiconductors designed for application in devices of domestic use, or by a letter and two numbers for the devices semiconductors designed for professional teams.
